Jensen Neurology
How It Works
A private consultation process designed to evaluate cognitive symptoms, cognitive performance, family history, and complex neurologic questions.
The goal is to evaluate available information, identify meaningful patterns, and develop individualized recommendations based on your history, risk factors, and goals.
Defining the Questions
You begin by describing the changes, observations, questions, or goals that prompted you to seek consultation.
Comprehensive Consultation
Dr. Jensen meets with you for a detailed neurologic history, review of concerns, focused neurologic examination, cognitive screening, and review of relevant records when available. The goal is to identify relevant clinical factors, place them in context, and determine which warrant further evaluation.
Clinical Interpretation
Symptoms, medical history, lifestyle factors, family history, prior testing, imaging, laboratory results, and risk factors are reviewed together to identify patterns and potential contributors.
Developing a Plan
Findings, impressions, recommendations, and areas for ongoing observation are documented in your consultation note. Recommendations may include additional testing, lifestyle modifications, medical follow-up, brain mapping, neurofeedback, or periodic reassessment when appropriate.
Follow-Up Guidance
When appropriate, follow-up consultations may include review of additional records, discussion of new findings, neurofeedback planning, coordination with other clinicians, or reassessment over time.
What you leave with
You leave with an expert neurologic assessment, individualized recommendations, and a clearer framework for thinking about your cognitive health moving forward.

No. Jensen Neurology is a private-pay consultation practice. Services are not billed through insurance.
Is this the same as a traditional neurology appointment?

Can prior records or test results be reviewed?
Yes. When available, prior imaging, laboratory testing, cognitive assessments, consultation notes, and other relevant records may be reviewed as part of the consultation process.
